Interim Support for Families
The Autism Association provides support services to assist families awaiting diagnosis or a place in an early intervention service. There are no fees for this service. The service includes:
- A point of contact, assistance and referral. Families and carers can meet with a member of staff and discuss any questions they may have
- Facilitating access to existing community services/private therapies and resources
- Information/advice and consultancy
- Individualised counselling as a starting point to enable families to assist their child at home and or school
