Hear From the Team

Working at the Association provides me with the opportunity to develop specialist skills within the discipline as well as grow in all areas of Speech Pathology specific to Autism. I have been able to solidify assessments of speech and language for early and school age individuals, develop specialist skills in AAC assessment, prescription and implementation, and work within mealtime management. Autism comes with such diversity and the rewards clinically, professionally and personally are limitless.

I love my job because I get to make a difference in people’s lives where it matters to them the most – in their homes, schools, and communities. I feel like I’m still learning every day, but get heaps of opportunities to share my knowledge and skills to help others learn and grow in this space together. Our team is so much fun to work with, and it’s awesome to share that energy and passion for helping improve the lives of others every day.
