Building Positive Behaviour: An Introduction to Supporting Positive Behaviour Change | Shenton Park | 23/10/2019

This interactive workshop explores the process of understanding challenging behaviours and how to support positive behavioural change by using an evidence based approach. 

Participants will:

–       Develop their understanding of the connection between Autism and behaviour by reflecting on video examples, and through group discussion. 

–       Learn about what Positive Behaviour Support actually means and why it is important to take a multi-element view of behaviour. 

–       Work through a 5 Step process for achieving positive behaviour change

–       Have an opportunity to collaborate with others and share experiences


Recommended for parents and carers of children aged 0 to 18 years.

For families currently accessing our services, you may be able to use your therapy funding to cover the cost of this workshop. Please register by emailing seminars@autism.org.au  or call 9489 8900.                                                                          

For families not currently accessing our services, tickets may be purchased below – up to 2 people may attend on one ticket purchase.

Cancellation / no show policy:

You may request to cancel your ticket for a full refund up to 48 hours before the date and time of the event.

Cancellations requested after 48 hours of the event will not receive a refund or a transfer.
