Early Days: Understanding Behaviour | Karratha | 03/08/2022

August 3 @ 9:30 am - 2:30 pm

The Early Days Understanding Behaviour workshop focuses on helping parents and carers (unpaid) manage difficult behaviour in children aged 0 to 7 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Families of children with ASD often report high levels of stress and difficult behaviour can be one reason for this. Difficult behaviour can also interfere with the child’s development and learning.

This workshop will cover the following topics:

  • Understanding your child’s behaviour
  • Teaching your child a new, more functional behaviour
  • Developing techniques to promote positive behaviour

The Early Days Workshops are provided free to families and carers (unpaid) of children up to 7 years of age with (or who may have) Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We recommend attending our introductory session  Early Days: My Child and Autism on the 02/08/2022 prior to attending this workshop.

Please note that proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required to attend in-person training.
