Understanding Behaviour | Subiaco | 18/09/2021

September 18, 2021 @ 9:30 am - 2:30 pm

The Early Days Understanding Behaviour workshop focuses on helping parents and carers (unpaid) manage difficult behaviour in children aged 0 to 6 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Families of children with ASD often report high levels of stress and difficult behaviour can be one reason for this. Difficult behaviour can also interfere with the child’s development and learning.

This workshop will cover the following topics:

  • Understanding your child’s behaviour
  • Teaching your child a new, more functional behaviour
  • Developing techniques to promote positive behaviour

The Early Days Workshops are provided free to families and carers (unpaid) of children aged 0 to 6 years with (or who may have) Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We recommend attending an introductory session such Early Days: My Child and Autism prior to attending other topics.

Please note that we require a minimum of 8 registrations for this workshop to go ahead. Unfortunately, childcare is not available

Fully Booked? Email Early.Days@autism.org.au to be added to the wait list.
