Growing up – Sexuality and Relationships | 23/06/2018

June 23 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

| Free - $75.00

Please note that we require a minimum of 10 registrations for this workshop to go ahead.

Most teenagers at some point in their development are faced with new challenges relating to hormone changes, sexuality and romantic feelings. During this time, quality education, information  and support  is especially important for individuals with Autism as they may be less likely to learn about it from other sources including their peers.

This workshop will explore themes of helping your child to stay safe, to understand their feelings and to learn about expected behaviours around sexuality and relationships.

If you are currently a client of The Autism Association of WA and have a key therapist, payment will be directly deducted from your child’s funding package. For further information please discuss with your key therapist.

For other families, we have kept costs to a minimum which is $50 per person or $75 for a couple.

If your child is currently on our waiting list for services and is not currently accessing any services with another therapy provider then you may be able to access this training at no cost – please email seminars@autism.org.au  for more information.
