MetroNet Railcar Facility Tour | 03/04/2023

April 3, 2023 @ 3:45 pm - 5:45 pm

Have you seen Perth’s new C-series trains?

In partnership with METRONET and ALSTOM Australia, we would like to invite you on a behind-the-scenes tour of the METRONET Railcar Manufacturing and Maintenance Facility in Bellevue. Perth’s new C-series railcars are being built in the facility and the new trains will be carrying passengers around Perth by the end of the year.

This low sensory tour will take you through the workshop where you will have an up-close and personal look at the assembly line that will build 246 new trains.

Autism Association of WA will be attending on the day to support. See more about the WA Railcar Program here and download the fact sheet here.

Please note: attendees will be required to wear long pants, long sleeved shirt and enclosed flat shoes. You will be provided a high visibility vest on the day for your safety during the tour.

Who should attend:

This event is suitable for individuals aged over 15 years of age.
