Moving from the safe and familiar environment of home into primary school can be an anxious time for both you and your child. When starting primary school, your child will be introduced to new adults and children; new routines; play experiences and sensory environments. Children may need more support at this stage to prepare and settle into this new school environment. This presentation will provide key information to assist parents and families to plan for and negotiate this time of change, including some organisational tips and tools to help prepare your child for a successful transition to school.
If you are currently a client of The Autism Association of WA and have a key therapist, payment will be directly deducted from your child’s funding package. For further information please discuss with your key therapist.
For other families, we have kept costs to a minimum which is $50 per person or $75 for a couple.
If your child is currently on our waiting list for services and is not currently accessing any services with another therapy provider then you may be able to access this training at no cost – please email email@example.com for more information.
