Steps to Literacy – Support the Learning of Reading, Writing and Spelling | Shenton Park | 16/02/2019

February 16 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

| $75 - $100

Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) don’t always develop early literacy skills in the same way or at the same rate as other students. Some children with ASD experience challenges with learning to read, spell and write. In this workshop, we will discuss some myths and misconceptions around learning, explore the possible challenges experienced by children with Autism and suggest some practical strategies for improving literacy outcomes.
