Please note that we require a minimum of 10 registrations for this workshop to go ahead.
Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) don’t always develop early literacy skills in the same way or at the same rate as other students. Some children with ASD experience challenges with learning to read, spell and write. In this workshop, we will discuss some myths and misconceptions around learning, explore the possible challenges experienced by children with Autism and suggest some practical strategies for improving literacy outcomes.
If you are currently a client of The Autism Association of WA, this training is complimentary and you may attend at no cost.
For all other families, we have kept costs to a minimum which is $75 per person or $100 for a couple.
Registrations will be open from 9:00am – 9:15am. The workshop will commence at 9:30am, unless otherwise stated.
