When is it?

World Autism Awareness Week is the 29th March to the 4th April 2021 and Autism Awareness Month is throughout the month of April. We will have a range of events starting from the 29th March and throughout the month of April.

How can I help make a difference?

Whether you are a person with Autism, a family, school, community group, or workplace, there are many ways you can help to increase awareness and understanding of Autism. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

Snap and Share

Take a photo of your office, class or whole school wearing blue, learning together, spreading awareness and igniting change for Autism Awareness. 
Share it on social media and tag us so we can share it!

We have collaborated with the WA Museum Boola Bardip to develop inclusive supports for year-round visits.  Enjoy a comfortable environment to support the needs of children and adults with Autism.  During our quiet sessions, specific galleries will remain open for an extra hour and modified for a gentler sensory experience. Latitude Sensory Session | 24/04/2021

Latitude Joondalup are once again offering a sensory friendly session to families of the Autism Association. The centre will open an hour earlier in an adapted environment for children with Autism to enjoy. Attend an underwater adventure at AQWA The Aquarium of Western Australia!
