Behaviour is how we act and react to everyday environments and situations. We all engage in behaviour that challenges others at times, its part of being a person. In some cases though, people develop behaviours that persist, interfering with their day-to-day experiences, affecting their relationships and impacting their quality of life. A positive and pro-active approach includes considering the reasons for the person’s behaviour so that we can work out how to help make things better for them.

For children with Autism having diet variety for adequate nutrition can be a real challenge for many reasons, and taking part in mealtime experiences with others may affected.
