Support for childcare centres

A practical workshop can be delivered to childcare centre staff to improve understanding of Autism, including the signs, myths and support services available. We can also provide guidance on how to help children with Autism in a childcare setting.

This intensive two-day training is designed to teach participants the theory behind The Picture Exchange Communication System and the protocols on how to appropriately implement the six phases of PECS. The Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) is used to teach communication skills rapidly to those with limited functional speech.
