Building Positive Behaviour: An Introduction to Supporting Positive Behaviour Change | Webinar | 18/06/2020

This webinar is recommended for parents and carers of children with Autism aged 0 to 18 years

Behaviour is how we act and react to everyday environments and situations. We all engage in behaviour that challenges others at times, it’s part of being a person. In some cases though, people develop behaviours that persist, interfering with their day-to-day experiences, affecting their relationships and impacting their quality of life.
A positive and pro-active approach includes considering the reasons for the person’s behaviour so that we can work out how to help make things better for them.

Tips for Toileting | Webinar | 08/08/2020

Toileting is a daily living activity that involves several physical, sensory and social aspects that can make it challenging for children with Autism to learn and gain confidence in.

Every child develops toileting skills in their own time and way.  There isn’t one ‘right’ way or set age to learn how to use the toilet— the approach really depends on each child!   For children with Autism, toilet training may require a range of strategies.

Join us to learn more about wees, poos and what to do when tackling toilet training for children with Autism.
