“At the Autism Association of WA, director of therapy services Tasha Alach had seen too many Perth families fall apart from the stress of flying. Yet she knew — with planning, support and understanding — it was possible for kids and adults with autism, and their fellow passengers, to have positive airport and flight experiences.Ms Alach set about giving her clients wings and, in collaboration with Perth Airport and Virgin Australia, hatched a plan called “Wings For Autism”.”
