Your Stories

As a parent who was just confronted with my child’s diagnosis, I was so stressed and upset. This group has given me lots of empathy and great information.

Peggy herself is such a passionate and lovely person who has enthusiasm to help other parents with making a relaxing time and providing different information. I’m so happy to be going to the group.

I’ve attended the MyTime sessions in Joondalup for the last 4 months and I can’t thank Peggy enough for all the support she guidance she has provided in that time. Both my kids are on the spectrum and prior to attending MyTime I felt very alone and isolated. Peggy made me feel very welcome and she is always there to offer advice, comfort and reassurance. She is such an asset to the Autism Association.

From the first moment Peggy has supported me, answered all my questions and showed genuine love and concern toward myself and my children who both have Autism. Through her own experiences Peggy has the ability to have empathy for parents and children who travel this journey. Thank you also to our play leaders who have true connection with our precious ones and are always quick to support us. I would be lost without this group.
