The following resources have been created to raise awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and to support the inclusion of children with Autism in children’s learning environments.

Autism Association Resources
- Autism Awareness Poster – Developed by the Autism Association of WA in partnership with the Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia
Translated by Aboriginal Interpreting WA, this series of communication boards and visual aids have been developed in Indigenous languages to support the inclusion of children with Autism in children’s learning environments. This project was supported by National Disability Services and funded by the Department of Communities.

Understanding Autism – Meet Ned
A short video from Autism Queensland featuring a young boy called Ned created to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families understand and recognise the early signs of Autism.
